I have been teaching and coaching actors of all levels for over 30 years throughout the country, including Virginia, New Orleans, New York City, and the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center (NYTI) in Connecticut. A product of extensive training in the US and London, I have over 40 years of professional experience and offer the unique perspective of a working actor. My focus is on process and a text-based approach to the work, informed by down-to-earth, practical business insight. My students gain a strong acting foundation that can be applied to all styles and mediums, along with strategies for dealing with the ever-changing landscape of the industry.
I spent three years as Artistic Director and Artist in Residence for the JCC Association’s Maccabi Artsfest, an international youth arts festival that brought high school-aged artists from all over the country together to learn from professionals across all artistic disciplines.
